This option lets you specify how you wish the files be sorted as per the parameters specified in the Sort Sub-menu.

You can select the parameter by clicking on it.

You can also change the sort order by clicking on the appropriate field specified in the main file list box.

For example, you can click on the field Name to sort by name i.e. in alphabetical order. The order can be deselected by clicking on it again.

The fields in the main menu list box have an icon pointing upwards or downwards. This icon denotes the sort order - ascending or descending. The up arrow indicates ascending order and the down arrow indicates descending order. This order can be reversed by clicking on the icon.
