Revisited-TBX File w/ wildcards+delete source after transfer

Last year I had submitted a ticket because I was using a TBX file to upload with wildcards and I ALSO wanted it to delete files after transfer. I had the following response from Leon on the issue.

I just downloaded the latest build to see if there was a solution for this yet, but I don't find one. Please advise.

Again, the basic need is to create a session file that will upload files in a folder defined by wildcards and will delete the files after transfer.

So currently I use something like

"C:\Process\TransferLogs\*.log" 0 ->> . 192.168.1.55

and it works well but doesn't delete after transfer.

In any case, I've just had a scenario where it would behoove me to install this on a bunch of client sites if I can get this functionality to work. So if we can nail it down, I will hopefully be buying some license packs in the near future.

In playing around with a session file I created in Version 6 (Save Queue command) it seems to have issues with null characters after I open, edit and resave it from Notepad. Is there a better way I should go about editing it?

Hi,
I've just recently started using a previously installed version of this software. It's Version 6 build 743 and i'm trying to work out how to get the scripts to transfer files using a wildcard, then delete the files afterwards.

It says in this forum that there was an update to include this a year ago but the user guide that comes with the software says to put <<- if using wildcards and <<< to delete the files after transfer... so i've tried both and <<<- and i can't get it to do both... it either can't see the files because of the wildcard or it wont' delete the files..

I dont' know if this build came before or after that response on the forum.

I don't see this in the release notes for the latest update. Do you think it will be in the next one? I've been keeping my fingers crossed for this one for a long time now.

I'm evaluating Version 6.30 build 802 for buying. I've queued up an upload task using wild cards on the file name (XP_*.xml). When I transfer the queue I receive the error "ERROR:> Can't open local file.(#0)" and transfer is not executed.
If I try transfering the same file withot using wildcards on the file name the transfer succeds so I don't think the error comes from folder access restriction... What could be wrong...? Thanks
