Can TurboFTP do this?

Hi,

I am looking for a FTP client that is more like an unattended service, and so far from what I can see, TurboFTP almost fit the bill. Basically, I want an unattended FTP service to be able to download from a remote server certain files (e.g. all files that match *.zip) on a regular interval (e.g. every 4 hours). However, if the first session is still going, then I don't want the second one to start at all. The whole idea is just to download any new files that match the criteria from a remote server. Ideally, the FTP client/service would monitor the remote directory for new files, and download them. But I haven't seen any apps that can do this, so I will settle for scheduling the download process on a regular interval. But I don't want the 2nd or subsequent ones to start if the first one is still downloading files.

Can TurboFTP do that?

Thanks in advance,
Ben

The TurboFTP Sync Service module can accomplish this. If a task is still in progress it would be restarted even the 'next run time' is reached. Are you downloading very large files that might take up long time?

To only download .zip files you can set up a include filter *.zip in the Synchronization tab.

Leon
