Any way to export settings?

Postby acostanza » Thu Aug 17, 2006 2:54 am

I work on multiple computers and I'd like to make the additions to my address book only once and then transfer them to my other machines via an export and import function.

Also, I use the tack scheduler and I'd like to do the same thing with the many tasks I've got set up.

Is there a way to do either of these in TurboFTP? It would also be a great way to backup all my settings in case my computer crashes.

Thanks.

Hi,

Menu [Help | Addressbook Backup] allows you to make a backup of your address book. To use the same address book data with another copy of TurboFTP simply overwrite the addrbk.dat file with the address book copy you want to use under the TurboFTP installation dir.

The schedule.dat stores the schedule tasks data and you can make a backup copy of it and copy it back to the program folder to restore the settings.
