Sync Service misinterprets forward slashes

Postby dennisvz » Sun Aug 21, 2005 4:05 pm

I use the the TurboFTP Sync Service, but I think there's some bug in it related to the processing of local Windows backslashes to remote Linux slashes in pathnames. Here a piece of the task log:

[2005/08/21 15:25:56] COMMAND-0:> TYPE A

As you can see, it tries to upload two files:

1) "Sending /frontpage/frontpage.fok/nieuws.fok"
2) "Sending /frontpage/frontpage.inc\global\classes/nieuws.class.php"

The first file is uploaded correctly, as shown in the log, but the second file continuously fails to upload. The origin of this can be found in the backslashes that TurboFTP doesn't convert to forward slashes. This occurs only when files deeper than 1 subdirectory is being uploaded.

For the information: '/frontpage' is set as remote start directory for the sync task.

I hope I gave enough information to analyse this problem.
