Steaming piece of bugged s***

Postby JoeTF » Fri Mar 03, 2006 10:21 pm

Dear authors. syn features you offer are awesome and vastly superior even to designated apps (like ftp synchronizer).
However, could ytou ever considered adding syn to WORKING ftp client?

Here is *short* list of critical bugs:

Enabling transfer speed limits crashes program within 5 minutes.

50% of time, it'll load queue in reverse and will not work (failed to create file)

It will not remember ftp server data associated with queued files (thus failing to connect).

Automatically changing folders will automatically change folder... to it's install dir.

FTP sited added to server list's root folder will not show on server list.

For some reason, it just got broken and shows "2005" as filesize, and download forever at 100%.

And all of that, I found within one day of using your software. I haven't even tried uploading, god forbid more advanced functions.

Are you planning on fixing all that?

Another one:
It seems to freeze randomly during transfer.(when I use speed limiting tools like Netlimiter, because BUILT IN SPEED LIMITING CRASHES THE PROGRAM).
And one more!
Restarting it after froze, entire quene will be lost. Forever.

Does it crash during the transfer? Could you attach relevant log?

Thank you.

I reinstalled new version and crashes are gone.

Unfortunately, there is one critical issue that makes program nearly unuseable:

IT DOES NOT RESUME, BUT OVERWRITES EVERYTHING.
It also doesn't save queue on exit!
