TBX file to upload w/wildcards&delete source after trans

Postby ajharn » Tue Nov 27, 2007 6:03 pm

I am trying to set up a TBX file to upload files to a folder using wildcards and then delete the source files after transfer.

My understanding is that you must use ->> direction indicator to indicate wildcard usage...but you must use >>> indicator to delete source files after transfer. I can't use both. Is there another way to accomplish this?

I am currently using this syntax:
"C:\Process\TransferLogs\*.txt" 0 ->> . 192.168.1.55

Which works well, but does not delete the source files after transfer. Change to the >>> indicator yields a "Cannot open local file (#123)" error, presumably because it does not recognize the wildcard.

Please advise.

Thanks.

I noticed you have raised a support ticket for the same question. As mentioned we will add support for "post-transfer deletion" when the wildcard is in use.

Thanks.
