General question and discussion.

visual basic 6 crashing

When running visual basic 6 in debug mode with the SDK, the module runs, below is a snippet of the code:
Public Sub TransmitFiles()
Dim ret As Integer

Set tbFtp = New TBSDKLib.tbFtp

End Sub

It completes successfully, but If I start VB6 in debug mode again, it crashes when it gets to the Set tbFtp = New TBSDKLib.tbFtp statement. Is there something I need to do to clear the previous instance(I have the statement set tbftp = nothing at the end of the module when its done).

I don't see you are doing anything after create the TBSDKLib.tbFtp instance.
Can you show me what you do with this object?

Which sample are you running? The process gets stuck at LIST command, which seems to be a network / firewall issue. You might try swapping to active mode using the IsUsePasv property.
