ASP.Net sample

Postby charisuser » Thu Oct 05, 2006 9:00 pm

I can't get the ASP.Net sample to work. After looking at the log, I can see that the login occured, but it seems to bomb out after a LIST command.
It appears to bomb out during initialization and never gets to my FTP commands.
The FTP server is running vsftpd.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

Which sample are you running? The process gets stuck at LIST command, which seems to be a network / firewall issue. You might try swapping to active mode using the IsUsePasv property.

It's the ASP.Net sample of the TurboFTP SDK.
Setting the isUsePasv causes the whole thing to just hang.
Yes, the List call seems to cause problems as well.
Other calls seem to work, but return error codes.
We're going to try a different solution, but thought you'd like to know.
Maybe it's just the server we're using.
